Finally found a good picture from the annual Dam photo in from MATG. Just the scale of how many cars were there is ridiculous. And not everyone is even there yet in this photo! I am parked three rows in from the closest end in the middle.

Plus an awesome trip to follow along. The guy is driving 7000 miles in a track prepped NA miata, hitting multiple tracks along the way across the country. He just happened to stop by MATG because why not.

There were 20-30 the night before the main meet. I had to leave buttcrack early in the morning to get to work. But I was rewarded with a completely empty run. Worth it.

Oh yeah there definitely were! The k-swap car was more interesting though. Plus that guy was giving rides to anybody that wanted to go check it out. It sounded pretty nuts.

I'm not sure what they pulled the motor out of exactly but I would presume s2k. I'm pretty sure it's quite Frankensteined together though. Either way, a Miata revving to 8 grand is spectacular.
